We back up all our media files, photos, and videos on our PC when we are running out of storage space on our smartphones. We never want to face that nightmare when we encounter a system crash. If you have accidentally deleted photos on your computer and realized you want them back, you can try ways to recover deleted photos on Windows.
Recover Deleted Photos from Recycle Bin
If it’s not been long since deleting your favorite photos, you can try checking in the Recycle Bin folder. It only holds photos, videos, media, and files for up to 30 days of deletion. If you have not permanently deleted photos, you can find them in the Recycle Bin folder.
Step 1. Press the Win key and type Recycle Bin.
Step 2. Click on the Recycle Bin App in the search results. You can also press Win + D and double-click on the Recycle Bin folder.
Step 3. Identify and find photos that you wish to recover. Drag or click to select the photos you wish to restore. Click on the Restore Selected Items or Restore all Items to get the deleted photos back in the original folders.
Restore Previous Version
Windows Explorer has a unique feature to roll back folder content to a particular date. For example, if there were 100 pictures in your folder and now you can’t find them, you can restore the folder to an earlier date and recover deleted photos.
Step 1. Press (Win + E) to access Windows Explorer.
Step 2. Right-click on the folder from where you wish to recover lost images and select Properties.
Step 3. Click on the Previous Version tab at the top of the folder properties window.
